Update from John - Club President
Posted on Jul 17th, 2018 Comments (0)
I recently read “The Battle for RV Techs”…a great article by Ronnie Garrett…check it out online at   I am reminded that your CCFI Club Sponsors have some of the very best qualified, seasoned highline technicians in the Industry!  Not just anyone can turn a wrench on your caliber of motorhome! When you are in their area be sure to stop in and support them with your business. You will be glad you did and I am confident they will earn your repeat business… See the listing of some of the partners who offer discounts to CCFI Members in this issue. *By the way, have you returned your invoice with payment for annual member dues renewal month? It’s so worth the fee just for the discounts at service centers and the discount on rally fees.
As we prepare to head to North Bend/Coos Bay area for a Friendship Rally full of fresh ideas and fun things to do, I am reminded how incredibly blessed we are to have the club sponsors we do who always support this rally. Like Premier RV in Junction City who has always been a premier rally and club supporter….And Oregon Motorcoach Center who likewise always steps up to enhance the quality of our rallies (they have a new page ad in the July enews issue)…And Kenai Coach and Bob Dickman Tire Center…and of course, Eric Olstrom of Olstrom Custom Coach, LLC, who usually comes into our rally events and offers technical support and rally sponsorships. The list is long and many other businesses support CCFI rallies too… Juanita and I always try to stop in and see our business partners/friends whenever we are in their area. They have earned our loyalty by great service, rally support, and their friendship most of all. The club and business sponsor connection really is a family affair…
Speaking of the Friendship Rally, I asked Sherry Fanning to include the Friendship Rally overview Jim Elder prepared for attendees in our July issue. Be sure to check it out here online--it's at the back of this issue. Call Jerry OConnor (775-742-4627) today if you'd like to get into this rally! It's going to be a good one! Thanks to Brent and Marilyn Hicks and Jerry OConnor for all the work putting this one together!
We look forward to a year of growth in 2019, and we are planning in advance how your board can do the best job possible to see sustained growth in our organization in the years to come.  We welcome your feedback, ideas, and input, your critiques of our events, and constructive criticisms are welcomed too. Much like the Rally Survey Country Coach always included in our packets at a rally, we want to get our best ideas from our best sources—YOU—for future rallies. Please take a moment to share your thoughts by emailing us here at the club website.  See you soon at the Summer rally or up the road.

$146,000 and counting! CCFI Loves Supporting Charities
Posted on Jul 6th, 2018 Comments (0)
For CCFI (an International Chapter of FMCA), giving back within the communities where club rallies are held is just part of what makes belonging to this motorcoach owners club special. It is now in excess of $146,000 raised in the communities where CCFI rallies. Back in June 2011 Country Coach motorcoach owners met along the Willamette River near where all Country Coaches were built to found a club on friendship with less bureaucracy. This international chapter of Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) quickly set about making Friends4Life at rallies in many locations over the next 7+ years! Giving back to the communities in which we rally remains a high priority.
There is also an economic impact with the club’s visit when we gather to businesses throughout the area through goods purchased, entertainment, shopping, RV park stays and coach services purchased while members are in town. Membership in this fun loving club is open to all brands of motorhomes.
Join the club, Join the fun! Meet some great friends as we explore new locations. Member Benefits include discounts nationwide on services, parts, resort stays and more. CCFI members enjoy a robust list of benefits from Family Motor Coach Association, too, as all CCFI members also maintain a membership in FMCA. Contact Jerry OConnor at jerry o bus at aol dot com with any rally/club questions.
